Cross-border practice framework
GHC connects you to licensed doctors and facilities. Medical practice always happens where the patient physically is. We are a technology layer, not the clinical or financial party.
Our principled position
GHC remains a technology layer. Care is delivered by licensed doctors at licensed facilities, in the country where the patient physically receives that care. Medical responsibility belongs to the licensed doctor. Financial responsibility belongs to the licensed facility. GHC is not a party to the medical contract and does not hold patient funds.
What you will always know
- The country where your care will be delivered, before you submit a Care Request
- Who is responsible for the medical relationship, and who is responsible for the financial relationship
- Access to the platform charter and the public methodology, at any time
Currently active
Today, the platform serves care delivered inside a single country — patient and provider in the same country. Other forms of cross-border care will be enabled progressively, country by country, as the legal and operational groundwork is laid. Each form, when it becomes available, is announced in the patient-facing terms at that moment.
The platform charter defines GHC's role; the algorithm methodology page explains how rankings work independently of commercial pressure; the operational trust page details how complaints and disputes are handled. This page sits alongside them.
